The "Not So" Comfy Cone

She said this way I can't chew at my paw! I haven't had to wear one of these devices since I lost my manhood 3 and a half years ago!!

Oh and it gets better.....

IT GLOWS! BOL!
I look like something out of the Star Wars movies! Puggle-Won-Kanobi!

Let's Go Celtics!!

What do you guys think of my team spirit? I may live in Florida, but I am a Boston sports fan! We live around a LOT of Orlando Magic fans so Mommy is proudly prancing me around the neighborhood in my Celtics jersey! She says that who doesn't love a puggle with team spirit!

Mommy says the coolest thing about this shirt is that the number is "00", which is the standard for almost all dog sports jerseys, but "00" was Robert Parish's number back when Mommy really loved basketball.......back in the "Larry Bird, Kevin McHale, Danny Ainge" days she says. Who the heck are those people?!

So what do ya think......Celtics fan or not, you have to admit, I am pretty cute? Kind of makes you want to watch basketball doesn't it?

Dogs v Gator!

Unbelievable that they could capture this on camera!!!
Dog Pack Attacks Gator In Florida
At times nature can be cruel, but there is also a raw beauty, and even a
certain justice manifested within that cruelty..
The alligator, one of the oldest and ultimate predators, normally
considered the "apex predator", can still fall victim to implemented 'team
work' strategy, made possible due to the tight knit social structure and
"survival of the pack mentality" bred into the canines.
See the remarkable photograph below courtesy of Nature Magazine.
Note that the Alpha dog has a muzzle hold on the gator preventing it from
breathing, while another dog has a hold on the tail to keep it from
thrashing. The third dog attacks the soft underbelly of the gator.
Not for the squeamish!!!

BOL! Daddy sent this email to Mommy today so she wanted me to post it!

Mother's Day Recap

Hope all of my furiends and their Mommy's had a great Mother's Day Weekend!
I bought Mommy some pretty flowers, well Daddy bought them, but we can pretend I did. And then I got to go for a car ride with Mommy to get Iced Coffee!
I just love riding in the car! Especially now that we have an SUV! All kinds of room for me to explore in the back! Don't I look so happy?!

The weather was so perfect here yesterday too that I also spent some time out in the Lanai just relaxing and enjoying the warm sun and nice breeze! This is one of my favorite seats......

This is my other favorite seat! It's so nice that the humans have so many seating options out there for me! It's like every day is Puggles Day at my house!

I want to thank my Mommy for being the best Mommy a puggle could ask for and tell her how lucky I am to have a Mommy like her that just loves me to pieces!
I love you Mommy! Hope you had a Happy Mother's Day with me!

OMD!!!

Mommy was just catching up on her local news from her hometown of Lynn, MA, something she does daily and came across this! OMD The POOR PUGGLE!! I sure hope he's ok!!!

Man attacked by pair of dogs in Lynn

LYNN - A man was treated and transported to Union Hospital on Saturday after being attacked by two loose pit bulls.

The victim, 67, whose name has not been released, was walking his puggle past 28 Forest St. when two dogs escaped from their yard and attacked him around 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Several people assisted in separating the pit bulls from the man before the owner took control of them.

The man was treated on the scene by Atlantic Ambulance personnel for bite wounds on his forearms before being transported to Union Hospital. His injuries were not considered life threatening. The puggle also sustained injuries from the attack and was later taken to the animal hospital by its owner.

Animal Control Officers reported to the scene and took custody of the pit bulls.

Mommy's Medicine

So Mommy has been sick all week, since the night we dropped Maggie off, and she got something called Bronchitis, so I have had to take care of Mommy!

While Mommy laid on the couch for several days watching TV, I was right at her side, making sure she got plenty of fluids!

Ok Mommy, THIS is NOT funny! She kept saying "ET Phone Home" over and over again!
CLEARLY the medications are getting to her!

Wanted to share this.....

Mommy got this in an email and wanted to share with all of my furiends and their humans!

I RESCUED A HUMAN TODAY
Her eyes met mine as she walked down the corridor peering apprehensively into the kennels. I felt her need instantly and knew I had to help her. I wagged my tail, not too exuberantly, so she wouldn't be afraid.
As she stopped at my kennel I blocked her view from a little accident I had in the back of my cage. I didn't want her to know that I hadn't been walked today. Sometimes the shelter keepers get too busy and I didn't want her to think poorly of them.
As she read my kennel card I hoped that she wouldn't feel sad about my past. I only have the future to look forward to and want to make a difference in someone's life.
She got down on her knees and made little kissy sounds at me. I shoved my shoulder and side of my head up against the bars to comfort her. Gentle fingertips caressed my neck; she was desperate for companionship.
A tear fell down her cheek and I raised my paw to assure her that all would be well. Soon my kennel door opened and her smile was so bright that I instantly jumped into her arms. I would promise to keep her safe. I would promise to always be by her side. I would promise to do everything I could to see that radiant smile and sparkle in her eyes. I was so fortunate that she came down my corridor. So many more are out there who haven't walked the corridors. So many more to be saved. At least I could save one.
I rescued a human today.
