A Second chance for Sargent

I'd like you to all meet Sargent. Sargent is a starved great dane who was rescued by a local Pet rescue here in Florida, Pet Rescue By Judy. When Mommy and I read his story and saw this horrible picture, we knew we had to do something to help him! Mommy sent some money his way, but then when I won Mr.Puggle's 200th post blog contest I knew I had to donate my winning bowl to Sargent!

Mommy has been in contact with Sargent's foster Mommy named Hope (how appropriate), and she sent us this wonderful picture of Sargent who is now doing so well and gaining weight and gaining his life back! Isn't he so handsome! I am so happy that he has been given a second chance at life! I wish every dog out there was as lucky as Sargent!

And yet more exciting news.......when the bowl arrives from Mr. Puggle, Mommy and I are going to go meet Hope and Sargent in person to give him his bowl! I can't wait!

Hi Bruschi, you are such a good doggie with a kind heart. I am proud to be your friend. Mommy hugged me so tightly when she saw the poor Sargent's pic. We are glad that he is doing so well.

I just love that you're doing this-- it's a small gesture that means so much. And I'm so happy to see that Sargent's getting the love he deserves!

What are you having put on the bowl?

Wow. I don't understand how anyone can let a dog get into the shape that he was in.

It is great to hear that he is doing better!

I saw another beautiful great dane this past weekend that was also a rescue, he too was slowing trying to gain weight, the owner said he still has 30 or so pounds left to go.
