Help! I'm losing my hair!

Ok furiends, I know I just turned 4 and all, but something very strange is happening and it's rather drastic. See this picture below from my 4th Birthday? Well, other than my grey colored muzzle, all looks normal. In the past 3 weeks, I have been losing my hair around my muzzle and it's freaking me and Mommy out!

In the pictures below, you can see it starting to thin out, under my nose and on the sides.

And since the humans came back from vacation, it is even worse. Mommy hasn't taken any pictures of it yet, but will this weekend in hopes that someone might know what's happening to me.
I think I see a vet visit in the very near future.
I am not scratching at it, it's not painful to touch, there is no bleeding or scabs so we don't think it's an infection of any sort. Mommy is worried it might be the sign of an underlying disease.
Does anyone have any idea what it could be?

Sometimes this happens from stress. Did you happen to start a new flea medication or heartworm med? Any Recent trips to the Vet's for annual shots? Sometimes dog's lose hair from allergic reaction.

Hi Bruschi,

Sorry you are stressed out about the missing furs. But we think it's prolly just cause you are getting older. Now we don't mean you are old-old. Just older, mature, grown up. Hope that eases your mind, but understand if you wanna get it checked out.

Waggles,

oh no, Bruschi, we are so sorry. you still look cute in the pictures. Since you pointed out the thinning area, we could see it in the pictures. oh you are scaring us too. I can't imagine how worried your mommy must be. Maybe it is some sort of allergies and the hair will grow back on its own. I hope the vet has the answer for you. If it is part of the aging process, it is a bit depressing to think about but it will be a relief to know you are okay. we heard sunburn can casue hair loss in dogs too. You think that is possible?
we will do some more research for you. Please let us know what the vet says.

I have some hair loss on my neck. Human Granny took me to see Dr. Sue and she said maybe hot spots from allergies. Dr. Sue put me back on my allergy pill. Hope all turns out o.k. Keep us posted. Good Vibes to you and a Big Puggle Kiss...<3
