Mommy was just catching up on her local news from her hometown of Lynn, MA, something she does daily and came across this! OMD The POOR PUGGLE!! I sure hope he's ok!!!
Man attacked by pair of dogs in Lynn
LYNN - A man was treated and transported to Union Hospital on Saturday after being attacked by two loose pit bulls. The victim, 67, whose name has not been released, was walking his puggle past 28 Forest St. when two dogs escaped from their yard and attacked him around 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Several people assisted in separating the pit bulls from the man before the owner took control of them.
The man was treated on the scene by Atlantic Ambulance personnel for bite wounds on his forearms before being transported to Union Hospital. His injuries were not considered life threatening. The puggle also sustained injuries from the attack and was later taken to the animal hospital by its owner.
Animal Control Officers reported to the scene and took custody of the pit bulls.

Oh I needed to go back and read more carefully....sorry about the delete....That is just awful....I feel badly for the man and the puggle but I always wonder why the dogs are so mean....how are THEY treated....not always their fault....someone should check out the owners also....
Mom hates hates hates when dogs are off leash. We know what its like to be attacked, not by pit bulls but still, its super scary. We hope the puggle and the man are ok.
Lots of Licks-
Oak and Swish
oh poor man and his puggle. It is dogs like those give pit bull a bad name. I feel bad for the really good pit bulls out there. Even Preston knows to stay away from pit bulls (after his dog park attack).
I hope the owner and his puggle both recover quickly.
this happend to me and my mommy! we were taking a walk and a pit bull jumped a fence and my mommy freaked and picked me up but this pit bull was nice! it just came over and smelled us. I hope that both man and puggle are ok!
lola.
I agree...that is why dogs should never be off their leash! I hope the man and puggle are ok.
Oh, I think I read the same thing in the Union Leader newspaper (I live in Manchester, NH) but I thought this story happened closer to my address. Then again, there are sooo many stories out there about pit bulls who get loose and scare the poor victims. I know that just about any dog could attack but pit bulls are the breed that is most feared and most misunderstood. I sure do hope the puggle heals quickly!
I am your new follower! Love your dog! Cute! April & Daisy
This is very sad. I hope the man and his puggle heal up okay and that those two pitties are not allowed to run loose again.
We hope your mom is feeling better!
Waggles,
Bijou
