Maggie the little thief!

Maggie may look sweet and innocent, but she's always up to no good!

See her....eyeing my chewy bone! She's just waiting for Mommy to turn her back before she makes her move!

SEE! She's run off with my chewy bone! Someone call the puggle police! She's a thief!

That's right Maggie, in jail where you belong! Stealing is against the law!

As you can see, we are getting along for the most part. We like to play the game of stealing each others toys and treats. I usually just let her win because she's a girl and she's so little.....but if she takes something I really want.....I let her know whos's boss!

Maggie has arrived!

Well, here she is! Maggie the 9 month old female puggle! She's a tiny little thing! The rescue group said she was 25 lbs, but I don't think that's correct. Bruschi weighs 30 lbs, and she is a fraction of him!

Oh no Mom NOT AGAIN! BOL!

Just kidding......we are getting along so far! She seems to want to do everything I do! And she and I are actually PLAYING, and not growling or snarling or even biting! She even slept in her crate, all through the night, without making a single peep! Mommy was pleased! And I of course, got to sleep in the big bed as usual!

BOL! She is so silly! Mommy told her to smile for the camera, and instead she made a face! What a silly little puggle!

Spring Has Sprung

Yep, thats' right, spring has arrived here in sunny florida and I just love sitting out in the la nai with Mommy, drinking iced coffee and what not. hopefully, I can retire my sweaters and coat for the year!

I want to show you my new blanket! Mommy bought it for me the other day, because she said I was getting fur all over the brown couch! So now I'll just get fur all over the brown blanket, BOL, way to go Mommy!

And in other puggle news, Mommy says we are getting another foster puggle tonight......this time it's a little girl named Maggie. She wants to see if I get along better with a girl than I did with Tyson. I hope she's cute! BOL!

Feeling Better!

Great news! I am finally feeling better! After 4 days of liquid poops, I am now on 2 antibiotics and on the mend! Mommy made me boiled chicken and white rice over the weekend which I was finally able to keep in yesterday!

Seven? Really??

Well, I have to report that I have been under the weather since Friday. I seem to be having some bowel troubles and I am waking up every hour in the middle of the night to have liquid poops. We are all very tired and although I am not eating, the poops continue to come out! So Daddy took me to the vet today and he put me on an antibiotic and hopefully that will clear it up.

BUT in other exciting news.......I got weighed today and I am down to 30.5 lbs! If you remember back in October at my annual appointment, I weighed in at 37.5!
From a hefty 37.5 to a svelte 30.5! All this exercising has paid off!
Of course, I am probably down a pound or two due to the liquid poops, but still.....I'm finally losing weight!

Good Bye Tyson

Well today is the day that Tyson will be leaving us. I am sad to report that after much effort, him and Bruschi are just not getting along. The fighting was getting so bad I swear, it sounded like I was running a dog fighting ring! So for the safety of both Bruschi and Tyson, it is best that we part ways and send him off to another foster home. I feel terrible, as he just keeps bouncing around and I think has gotten quite a bad reputation with the rescue, but he is truly not a bad dog at all!! I am confident that he WILL find a great forever home! I am really going to miss him, despite all the frustration and stress he brought into my life, LOL. I will probably cry when I say my good-byes to him, as he did become my little buddy and followed me everywhere I went. Sigh.......so long Tyson! I am glad we could give you a nice home, even if only for a short while.

Puggle Update

Can you even believe it? They are snuggling together on my husband's lap today!!!!!
Maybe all it took was a few days of them getting adjusted to each other after all!
Fingers crossed,(and paws crossed) that this works!
Yesterday afternoon I got them to both lay on the carpet and chew rawhide bones together and they only had a few incidents during the day of going after each other.
I am starting to think that I am the problem. Bruschi is a total mama's boy and Tyson has taken quite a liking to me and follows me everywhere! I think that Bruschi seeing Tyson always being around me is the trigger to Bruschi's jealousy!
I just have to keep doing what I'm doing, which is put Bruschi first, continue doing everything with him first, and slowly but surely Tyson should understand his role!
